I have two news: bad and good. I found totally cracked version of Cities XL, so it’s here: http://21region.org/tt/viewtopic.php?t=16789 . And here is bad part: this is Russian version of the game.

Holy fudge, it actually works! :D
I already had version 1.1.0.438 from a trial, literally just downloaded the ‘Crack’ folder, copied and pasted the cracked ‘CitiesXL.exe’ and the ‘Paks’ folder into the Cities XL install folder and ran the CitiesXL.exe
Only single player though, but still, better than nothing. :)

many thanks Warll! and for the record i did only put the packs file and put’ed in the installation folders packs not the hole map . . and the patch was one 314 mb :)

Maybe try what this guy did: “Nevermind, I’ve fixed it. Here’s what I did: 1. re-install the game 2. Open the launcher 3. Click on the update within the laucher (+/- 300mb) 4. Installeed the update 5. Put the Crack & pak folder into the Cities XL folder 6. Start via crack and that’s it, basically…”

warll :) i really wan’t this game and i actually never have faild to get any of my other games working .. so

1. what are it doing when it do the connecting to disconnected.

2. Can u may upload you folder or yeah don’t really know what’s the problem is but any thing worth trying if u would get any idea ! ..

so playing tropico 3 and crying over citeis xl ..

When I run the .bat on each update appears a window says: you first need to get version 1.0.3.297

Err well then I have no clue what the problem might be. It only took a few minutes for the game to load for me.
